Since graduation, he has been engaged in the translation, and research of Chinese medicine, and has undertaken the teaching of Chinese medicine translation and advanced translation for undergraduates, masters and doctoral students. He has taught masters of Chinese medicine translation and has published successively. To date, he has published over twenty research monographs, more than thirty translation works, and several hundred academic papers, essays, and notes. He is currently a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Shanghai Pudong, and a deputy director of the Chinese Medicine Association of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, a member of the Chinese Medicine Committee of the National Science and Technology Terminology Examination Committee, and a member of the International Standardization Committee of TCM Terminology of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine, and a executive editor and columnist for the Journal of Integrative Medicine.
